beware of consolidation companies

Thanks for that tip on this team of rip-off artists. I have not heard of them or their tactics, but I am sure someone here has.

oh yes and anything with a number in front of cash is ripoff, 300cash,500cash,and they also sign you up for roadside service, 14 a month u dont know about it til its taken outta of ur account, and a personal voice mailbox thing for 20 something a month and u don tknow about it either til its done taken out. and you can't get the money back.

ID Crisis--Dispute ALL of these items with your bank and file fraud charges with them. You can not be charged for things you didn't ask for.

Yes, and I agree that ALL payday loans are trouble.

ROADSIDE SERVICE? That is by far the most asinine scam I have ever heard off...take a loan with us and we'll tow your CAR? That takes the cake (for today anyway!)

I too tried to get a loan with them a long time ago. They debited my account but I never heard back from them. Thanks for putting the warning out there because I totally forgot about that one. Lorri, some of the internet pdl companies have all kinds of little extra scams going on the side.

The same thing happened to me. I applied for the loan, the took the "application fee" and I never heard from them again. They don't even list a number to contact them. What a scam.

I guess I was a lucky one. I had a loan with them last year and knock on wood it went smoothly. Thanks for the info!

if you ever apply again for loans be sure to scroll all the way down the page and make sure nothing is checked that isn't shouldn't be check but easiest way not to get ripped in scam is not applying and stay away from the pdl trend :)

We fell victim to this company. My husband actually got approved though. However after approval and deposit of the funds my husband had to have surgery leaving him unable to work. We now live on his FMLA payments and have defaulted on the loan. 200cash is going to do a wage assignment which we are going to cancel immediately. The company is definately a big time scam.

I am interested the loan i was approved for $200. On route66funds. I am close to 14-days til payday.

My suggestion to you is don't get a payday loan!
Read through these forums first and you will definately change your mind.

I want to know if this company is even ligit, because not only do I make descent money, but all my info was correct, and they took the money out of my account TWICE, which turned my account into the negative, then claimed I couldn't be approaved becuase they couldn't veryify my information, which was a total lie, so be aware,,,,,,,,

This so called company has my account over drawn by 250.00 by trying to take out a payment on a loan that we did not quallify for. If you go to 200cash.com they will rip you off. Be carefull. My nest step is to call the BBB.

I applied in desparation to this company. As with others they took the fee but then never responded yea or nay to the request. If they were a reputable company they would atleast respond I am aware I agreed to the fee. So will live with it. Need money because both parents had a stroke and I have missed work to take care of them. Have managed to work thru with their money. As long as no futher charges are charged to me will ok. If other issues will have my attorney take care of them. BEWARE !!!!!!!! :?:

My bank is tops. Here is the info you need to contact these crooks.

Their phone number is 714-839-1300/ 7700. The email to their "legal department' is [email]legal@200cash.com[/email]. I never got an actual person. The first number is basically is a recording that tries to discourage you from pursuing attepts to try to stop these crooks from doing what they are doing. The second was a voicemail. I will be reporting these people and sending the info that I gathered to my state's attorney general. Good luck!

The bank info for this "loan company" is as follows. Huntington Bank 614-331-8590. Ask YOUR bank for a tracer number (just in case). I actually got the 200 cashcom number from these folks. If you've been a victim, I encourage you to call and put these crooks out of business.

i have been trying to get incontact with this company for days. But I can not get anyone on the phone. Please can someone tell me what to do. Because I do not want to go to court with this company.

There is not much you can do besides dispute this with your bank...let them know what fradulent actions have taken place. Wells Fargo is very good about these issues...anyone else who has had good/bad experience's with their bank disputing charges like these let these users know please.

It is really a rip-off I fill up the application without knowing that they charged your bank $19.95 right away before finalizing the loan. You will be notified that you were approved for $200.00 and signed the documents and the final document is to let you know if you default in your loan like NSF when they presented for payment they will cahrge you straight $780.00 for attorneys fees, and other miscellaenous fees. I changed my mind and did not sign the document and back off. I received an email that they denied my loan application for that $200.00 amount because I did not sign the last document and without knowing that they still charged my bank for $19.95.

Hello i just filled out my 2nd loan with them the 1st one i tried with 200 cash.com was declined. after i faxed in all paper work. now for the 2nd time i have not heard back from this compay. i have a number and no one ever calls me back

well i just apply for 200cash.com just a few days ago the only thing is i have not heard a thig from them but i also did see that 19.00 charge that you have to pay well if i had 19.00 i maybe would not need a loan good for me i didnt have that 19.00 in my account i only had 4.00 dollars so i guess they couldnt get the 19.00 but i wonder what willl happen when i get paid will they try to take it and i also emailed them and they didnt answer thanks i should have read this before i apply

this company took money out of my account on the 17th of december 2008 and no money was deposited into my account i would like to know why. thank you.

Kery, dispute the 200 with your bank.

Unfortunately, I too applied for a loan with 200cash.com. They charged me $19 and I never heard anything either. They never even tried to contact my employer. As you said they had no problem verifying bank information. I also had two other mysterious deductions on my account and now will have to close my account and reopen another one to avoid this problem again. I hope someone sees our postings before they do any payday advances. Buyer Beware.

I have had a loan with AmeriCash Advance and found they are the only company which really cares. I have used other companies before who charge crazy fees and will continue to charge me extensions if I fall in a bind! AmeriCash has worked with me on payment plans and always been there when I needed them. I would recommend them to EVERYONE!

i went on line to this co. and same thibg happened to me. They took money out of my account and I didnt get the loan.. I had an overdraft fee because the took money first and didnt transfer the 200 to my account. I want my money back and how do I get them from taking money from my account again. I went to my bank and talked with them and they wanted me to sign aq piece of paper saying i didnt give them permisssion, when i did, they would get me for forgery. Help me, help me with this, I cant affoed to get overdraft fees.

yeah i had my bank get my 19 back and waive the 25 NSF fee so screw 200 cash i never even went to their site and they retrieved all my info so I am closing my bank acct on Monday and opening a new one hahaha i got the last laugh on this illegal scam company
