Unreliable Creditors

I have tried numerous times to pay off a debt. Each time the creditor gone back on a promise of settlement and has been unable to provide proof of debt. What can I do to take care of this situation?

You can do nothing about this matter, so just sit back and stop worrying.:D 8)

It is the creditor's responsibility to validate the debt. You should get a written debt validation from your creditor as a proof of your debt before you pay them a single penny. This is a legal obligation and they should perform it in due time before starting to collect debts.
