I get calls from this number and they are always asking for someone who does not live here. I continuously tell them this, and they get defensive and even accuse me of being this individual. What action can I take? I do not answer the calls, and would usually just ignore them, but the way they have talked to me in the past has me upset.

Everyone who has posted a comment about PARC is a complete idiot and has no clue what they are talking about. My boyfriend works for this company. And everything you guys have posted is a bunch of bull and goes completely against their rules. 1st off if you dont answer your phone you obvisiouly dont want to pay your bill. These bills were purchased by Premium Asset Recovery from the hospitals you went to. They are 100% lagit! Also the employees have to follow laws called the fdcpa so think before you start talking next time.

this collection contacted my neighbor's phone and left personal information on his answering machine about my debt. when i called them back they got rather nasty and needless to say i got nasty right back. i have decided to file a complaint with the BBB and whom ever else i can. they pratice illegal collection proceeds and need to be stopped

They first contacted me in 2002 regarding an unpaid amount at local hospital. I confirmed my visit to the hospital by talking to the chief accountant. There was an amount due. I proved to PARC with check number that my insurance company paid the bill. Some one misapplied that payment. Also hospitals would not turn over to the collection agencys unapplied or credit balances for obvious reasons. Bottom line: I'm being harrassed again after six or seven years by PARC.

I asked this company to send me information such as documentation. They only the women did was get defensive with me and really was nasty so I hung up and called again and spoke to someone really nice. The women said she would lower the amount if I paid now. I asked to please send me the information in the mail. She said she would. Two weeks later they called again and again I asked for the information to be sent to me. At this time, nothing has been sent to me and now I am wonder if this will reflex on my credit report?
