Consolidating Credit Cards

Actually this is for my daughter. We live in Alabama. She has several credit cards with a total debt of about $25,000.00. She lost her job and has had to take a new job that pays less. She is now making about $8.00 an hour and is having a really hard time making the payments. She has two children that she has to take care of and her husband is not willing to help her in any way. He said that she created this and now she will take care of it. Some of the cards have his name on them but he didn't use them, she did. Can she do a consolidation on all of these cards and get his name off everything? Thank you for any help or advice that you can give her.
