I know we were discussing this in another thread a couple of weeks ago but I thought I would start a new one. I couldn't find the other thread. Anyway, I did a little research today. I didn't find out much but I was able to log into my account online. They are not accepting new clients at this time. The loans are issued through the First Bank of Delaware. I was able to print off my loan documents even. I haven't had a lot of time to delve into this matter more. I'm wondering if there is something going on with them. They don't respond to my e-mails. They turned me over to collections in January. I never received anything back from the CA either. The CA has a satisfactory record with the BBB. I'm going to call T & C to see who they talked to set this up on a payment plan.

I have a loan with them too...did you read the articles yesterday posted about 1st bank of delaware? they are no longer working with payday loan companies...
i wish I knew what this meant....i hate to think of throwing even MORE money away than i already have, by paying a company that might cease to exist in a few months...it's so frustrating..i want to pay my debts, but not if they are going under....

I heard something about the First Bank of Delaware not doing payday loans anymore. I think it was from pressure from the consumer protection office in the state. I have heard nothing back from Univeral themselves. It's been a bit frustrating. I haven't had a chance to call T & C to get more details on them yet. I've been too busy with work. Can you pm me the links to the articles? I would really appreciate it.

Universal is accepting payments through my debt consolidation co

Universal is accepting payments through my debt consolidation company. They also accepted a certfied letter from me. I got the signature card back yesterday. We'll see if they reply to it and go from there.
