I am paying an account with you and I am ready to pay it off. Is there a customer service #?

As you have not opened any account with Express-WFNNB, it should not appear in your credit report. Contact the company and ask them to update your file with the bureaus. You can also send a copy of it to the bureau reporting the error.

Before you do it, pulling a credit report from the other two bureaus will be helpful. You will be able to compare it and then file the dispute with strong approach.

I open an account in 1994 in which I never used and I wish to close it. However, I can not find my card with my account number on it. I realize that I still had this account when I checked my credit report. I have a partial account number from the credit report which is 33342. I wish for this account to be closed and I want to know what do I need to do to close this account.

I worked at the World Trade Center since 1989 and opened an account with your store in the Trade Center in 2001. It appears that you have negatively reported this account as being closed by me but past due for 30 days when I only had a high balance of $36.00 and this was paid off. I cannot believe that for a balance of $36.00 which account was paid in full that this would have been negatively reported to a credit agency as 30 days in arrears. I have never been 30 days past due in any of my bills and believe if there was any late payment on this account it was around 9.11.01 which destroyed my bank (Citibank) in the Trade Center as well as your Express Store in Tower One. Would you kindly respond to my message and if possible, clear this off my credit report as this is the only negative item which has not been settled. Since I no longer have this card as open, my partial account listed on the Experian Credit Report is #xxxxx. Since I am a kidney dialysis patient and have not worked over the past nearly four years, I would appreciate a response at your earliest convenience as I do not want this to in any way affect my ability to obtain a loan to pay off my medical expenses which I have incurred over the past 3-4 years due to my ill health.

You have reported me to the credit bureau with a charged off debt in bankruptcy. THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE! I have disputed the information with the bureaus and you have somehow provided them with information that keeps the report valid. Can I get a phone number to speak with your representative to clear this matter up?

Marc - I think you are mistaken. This website is for people to help with the debt issues. We are not affiliated with any collection agency. If you can tell us who this collection agency is that contacted you, we may be able to get you some contact information to call them directly.

If you have a delinquent account with Express contact the World Financial National Bank at (800)695-8626 to settle your account. :)

My credit report shows that I have an unpaid balance with your bank. I have never open an account with your bank and I will like to resolve this issue. TYour immediate att to this matter will be appreciated.

I think you have this site confused with Express1. This is a forum dedicated to credit repair. I would suggest Google.

The Creditor WFNNB/EXPRESS is for New York Co. or Express the store.

Mary: Any old accounts that are up-to-date positively effect your credit report. In other words, accounts in good standing will better to leave open for the long run. If you can't find you card, simply call WFNNB/EXPRESS and ask for a new card. Once received destroy it if you wish not to use it. This way it keeps reporting positive information to bureaus.
