CAPITOL ONE DEBT SETTLEMENT
I want to approach Capitol One about settling a five year old credit card debt.
The original credit line was $500.
With penalties and fees they are showing the balance to
be $1900!
I'm not sure how to even begin the process or
how much should i offer to get the ball rolling.
Has anyone had any experience settling with them?

Contact with Capital One and
Contact with Capital One and try to negotiate with them. Offer them such an amount that you can afford to pay. Otherwise try to get help from your friends and relatives. By the way, what is the SOL period in your state? If it has already expired, then you don’t need to pay them anything.

What state do you live in? What is the date of first deliquency? Have they already gotten a judgment against you???
