How many mortgages can I take out on a home?
I have heard about first, second, and third mortgages. My question is how many mortgages can I take out on my home?
You can take as many as 10
You can take as many as 10 mortgages against multiple properties. You have to use a few strategies for that. Some banks and credit unions offer portfolio mortgages that are not sold to Fannie and Freddie. The lender sets the limit. Plus, there are commercial mortgages also. You can try out all the options.
