What is credit card grace period? How much is it?

What is meant by credit card grace period? Do all banks offer this? How will I know how much grace period I have?

You get an extra 21 days from the time you get your bill to repay the new balance without incurring finance charges. Most credit card companies offer a grace period. You have to pay the full amount within that period. The grace period begins from the first day of the billing cycle and ends after a few days.

Grace period means getting extra 21 days to repay the bill in full. Though the majority of companies give this facility, you should confirm it before taking out the credit card.

The grace period is usually of this period, of about 21 days, but it varies from one company to another. So, it is better you inquire with your credit card company or have a look at the T&C documents.
