All I received from the law office giving me a response was copies of credit card bills. Nothing stating they were the authorized agent or license numbers. What are they required to give me as proof?

Have you checked the credit
Have you checked the credit card bills? Are they correct? Have you checked out all the figures?
You have the right to ask the collection agency to show something that proves they are the authorized agent to collect debt.
The collection agents must
The collection agents must show you some proof that they are authorized by your creditor to collect the credit card bills. Did you checked those bills properly? Are they real?
