My friend Lisa has to take some medicines regularly. If she buys them in bulk, say about for 90 days, can she buy them at one time copayment?


Yes, they may allow you to do that. However, it's better to check it before you opt for purchasing a 3-month supply. You can try negotiating with the shop, too.

Besides, you can discuss with your provider about your financial difficulties to bear the medicine costs. Ask your provider for a more affordable alternatives that's easier on your pocket.

Yes, I agree with GOODNELLY. You must also keep in mind that few medicare drug plans have different tiers of copayment, with totally different costs on different types of drugs. So, you may also reduce the copayment for generic drugs rather than few branded drugs.
