Jason....you didnt even read what I wrote. Your english is as bad as the indian tech team you hired. Their grammar makes this place look like a cheap indian scam site. The stupid "suggestion share" thing should say "share a suggestion". This is not meant to be racist but everyone is in this country is sick of Indian tech teams and call centers. They can recognize the grammar of a foreign tech team and that will put people off. English is obviously not your first language or you would catch these blatant misuses of the english language.

You need to understand, Jason, we are far from the only debt forum out there. If you continue to make it harder for people who come here to find what they come here for, they will simply look at another forum to get the same thing we should be providing for them here. Visitors have no loyalty to this site or any other--they will go where they can access the info they need without any extra hassle because there are plenty of other choices available to them. Not a very promising outlook when youre trying to bring more people here.....

You dont need us to send you screen shots. You need to simply look at the forum and see what it is doing.

This new "Share and win an iPad" box keeps popping up from the bottom right corner....it takes up nearly a quarter of the whole damn page. The "share" tab pops out from the left side of the screen, a little more than halfway down the page. EVERY NEW PAGE I CLICK ON, these annoying popups reappear with each new one. View a new thread? They are there again. Go to the next page in a thread? Yep...there they are.

You cannot expect people who come here for the first time to overlook nonsense like that. I have been here precisely three minutes looking at it, and it makes me want to log off and not return! Imagine that you are a typical visitor to this forum--you are being hounded by a debt collector, threatened with ugly things like jail time, etc etc...or maybe youve just been served a summons for a debt you know nothing about....the LAST thing you need or want in that situation is to be confronted with a forum that constantly spams you with popup windows on every page, or offers to win an iPad that take up almost 25% of the screen. YOU WANT HELP, not "like us on facebook"!!

This forum used to have a lot more traffic...WITHOUT the gimmicks. People come here for HELP, not for an ipad. And seriously, just a thought, if youre going to offer a prize, offer one thats worth winning. The iPad has none of the features that you can find in a bargain-brand android tablet today.

If you insist, against all logic and everything your members are telling you, on these popups, at least have this whiz bang tech team set it up so that the forum will remember a member's preferences so that we dont have to close out of them on every single page we view. That's just ridiculous. The thing is that you are making this forum less friendly to visitors with every one of these gimmicks you put there. People want ANSWERS and HELP, not to have to constantly click out of popups that have no value to them.

I am reading the responses to this thread and wanted to say that as of today, 11/17, the Share & Win popup is still there. It really needs to go, as I find it's more annoying than helpful. People come here for information on how to get out of debt and defeat illegal PDL lenders, not for this stuff.

Its working fine in our machine. Please send one or two urls where you are getting the popups. A snapshot will also help. We can then test it out in our machine to check the reason behind the issue in your machines. Please mention the browser version and machine configuration to help us solve the problem.

Dear Mods'

We have checked the 'share & win' popup issue. As I said it's working fine in our machine but there may be some browser cookie issues in your machine due to which you are getting those popups more than once. If you clear your browser cookie the popup will appear only once on pageload but the next time onwards you will not get those popups.

From now on you will not get "share & win" popup unless and until you click on the 'share & win' buttton.
