How to deal with banned debt collection agencies


I got a call from Charles Dickey debt collection agency a few days back and then again yesterday 5 times. I know very well that they have been banned by the FTC. What should be my next step? They keep calling me.


There are more than 100 debt collection agencies that have been banned by FTC. If your Charles Dickey debt collection agency is one of them, ignore their calls and file a complaint with the FTC before they harass you anymore.

You can file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). You can expect a reply within 15 days.

Don't be a goof, Patrick. The company is trying to make a quick buck and already banned by FTC.
