Can debt collectors contact me in social media for debt payments? A collection agency is sending messages to me everyday in social messenger.

As per the new FDCPA laws, debt collectors can contact you in social media for debt payments. They can text you or send messages to you through social media. And there is no cap on the number of times they can contact you. But you can tell them to contact you through some other methods instead of texting you on social media.

Yes, the debt collectors can contact you through social media, voicemail, text messages, etc. However, the debt collectors can't harass or abuse you through social media or any other communication platform.
