What kind of letter should I send for a time-barred debt?
A collection agency has contacted me regarding a debt which is out of the SOL period. What kind of letter should I send to the collection agency? Should I send a debt validation letter to the CA? Should I send any other letter to this collection agency from Ozark, Alabama?

send an C&D letter certified mail return receipt.if you know the debt is time barred what good would a DV letter do?unless you plan on paying it.i don't know,but if it's a bottomfeeder threatening you then send the C&D.who is this collector?
