How much should I spend for holiday shopping?

I am not planning to spend a penny this year. It is impossible. It's survival first. I did some some shopping in February. I will see if I can give something from there. Otherwise, I will just have a good mean in Christmas. That's all.

Have a make it christmas....cookies, cakes, acts of kindness. Personally we cannot afford anything this year with moving earlier in December....we will make up for it later.

This pandemic has shown us the importance of having an emergency fund and focusing on our needs than our wants. So, I would suggest you not to splurge this year. You can do necessary holiday shopping but please don't overspend. Instead save those dollars for your financial well-being.
