When shall I get my unemployment benefits?

Even my brother has applied for it. But he has not yet received it. He applied for it almost 3 weeks back. Don't know how long he has to wait. I read in a few articles that it is taking almost 2 weeks to receive stimulus checks. But it's more than 2 weeks already. Maybe he will get it in the next week. I will update you once he gets the unemployment benefits.

If you qualify the eligibility criteria, then you'll get the benefits. However, it may take time as many people might be asking for it.

Don’t worry. I was reading some e-blogs that say till now only around 30% of people have received the unemployment benefit of March month and 22 million US citizens have applied for it.

You know it, in a vast country like the US where different states run on different methods. That is why the federal government is making delays to make everything appropriate.

As per my knowledge, it will take some more time. Let m know when you get it.

Have you completed your claim application correctly? If yes, and there is no issues regarding your eligibility, you can expect your first unemployment check within a few weeks after your file.
