Can I get another Balance transfer card to repay the previous one?


Can I take out a another balance transfer card to consolidate the previous balance transfer card? My previous card was from BoA. I don;t think the same bank will give another such card. Should I approach any other bank. I think this time I'll be able to repay the transferred balance within time.


Yes, I think you should approach to another bank. However, if you have been a good credit card payment record, your existing bank can consider your request.

Do not hesitate and just ask any other bank to give you a balance transfer card.

Our law permits you to do that.

You can do that. But the new bank will also check your credit history. And, when they will check your payment history, they will find that you have defaulted on your balance transfer card. I don't know if they will issue you another balance transfer card. But if luck is in favor, then you can get another balance transfer card. And, how are you so sure that you will be able to pay the next balance transfer card?
