Payment to debt collector

Ok I don't see what I originally wrote. Sorry here it is:

I received a phone call from a Scott Lowery office demanding I pay $2,300 debt I owed from not paying my GE care credit . I told them I could only do 250$ every two weeks. They agreed but only if I gave them my bank info to automatically take the money out. Bad Idea bc they took out 250$ out TWICE this past Friday leaving my account at -300$ . I was able to cancel one of the 250$ checks.

I would cancel both as fraud and then close account for being compromised and open a new one not linked in any way to old.. and if someone calls demanding money - you demand a debt validation in writing first..

this bottomfeeder(do a search in the bar top right)needs to at least send you a dunning letter so you can send the DV letter.never just pay,and never give sensitive info to a voice over the phone.hope you learned something from this.
