MyPaydayLoan madness

This company, is based out of Costa Rica, and is threatening to send me to collections for non-payment. They advanced me $700 I have paid $1211 with zero going towards the balance and they are now claiming I owe an additional $1074
The email I received said I am bound by Costa Rican laws even though I reside in Oklahoma. Today’s email said since I have not responded to any of their arrangements for payment I can expect to receive a call from the outside collection agency. I called the Oklahoma consumer credit and she stated they are not licensed in our state. What if anything can I do?

There are many things you can do it right now. First, don't participate in the payment arrangement. Second, revoke the ACH authorization right now. Third, stop listening to their BS. Fourth, ask for a refund from them. Fifth, don't respond to collection calls.

I did all of the things you recommended on a previous string. Each response from them was verbatim what another member received. I’m sure I’ll never see a refund but as long as they can’t sue, garnish my wages or ding my credit report I guess it’s the price I pay for stupidity. I also have an account with 500 Fast Cash, it claims to be a tribal lender for the Modoc Tribe of Miami, which I live in Oklahoma, but in very small print it says Operated by:
RCSP Sp. z o.o.
Address:
Raclawicka 52A
53-146 Wroclaw, Poland

I have paid 2 payments of $150 towards the $500 I borrowed and zero has gone to principal. Do I just owe them $200 more or is tribal lending legal within the state you reside?

Thanks for your reply.

Can you please cite your reference that they are considered illegal? Nothing I find on line, besides here, states they are “illegal”. They all state I’m liable, can have a hit on credit report and wage garnishment. I’m not disputing the principal balances just the 894% interest and fees. 500 Fast Cash has called multiple times, me and my job. ??

This is what they do. Trust me when I say this. They can't do anything. There is no need to pay the 894% interest and fees also. 500 Cash is notorious for doing these things.

Received email from 500FC that says; tribal sovereignty blah blah blah. They will accept $800 as PIF. Just to reiterate I only owe them the $200 principal balance? Do I just quit responding to them or should I keep in communication?
