They are saying my deceased father ( he died in 1988 !!!!!!) has a debt to be collected.
wondering if I can sue them for Harassment and Emotional distress ??????
they are digging up horrible memories of his death--- there is no outstanding debt....

Did they send proof that you owed the debt? Copy of a card holder agreement/prom note??

Palisades sent me a letter that anyone could have put together. what should these letter contain?

Did you ever have an account with Verizon?? If not, write back to them disputing the validity of the debt and tell them to get lost.

They sent a partial copy of a bill the first name is not spelled the same as mine!!! they seem to have my social. I contacted verizon they told me to open any acc. with them they would pull credit. when palisades bought this debt they got all paper work with it,can I demand they send me copies??? What else should I ask for ?
