co-signer on student loan

I cosigned on student loans for my daughter through National Collegiate Trust. I am on Social Security. If she cannot make the payments can they attach my Social Secrity as a co-signer?

No, they cannot garnish your

No, they cannot garnish your social security. However if they sue you and get a judgment and you own a home, they will place a lein on it.

Yes I am sure. FEDERAL LOANS

Yes I am sure. FEDERAL LOANS can garnish SSI thru AWG...private loans have to go thru the court system and cannot garnish exempt funds.
