Ks, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it's an Indian content writing team. The IPs are always different and come up all over the world. Last time I ran the IP it came up in South Korea...

Is that one guy that's doing that? Can we just ban him? I used to read him just for the entertainment value, but it's really starting to get old.

I still think it shouldn't have changed and that this is worse than before but at least this is more functional than it was a few months ago.

What the hell has happened to this place?

I dont know, but all of my stored private messages are gone....and the feature where you used to just click on the most recent post in each thread is gone too. is there any time frame for anything to be fixed here? Honestly, I have stayed away because this place had become a nightmare of nothing more than spam posts...

We have been successful in bringing back most of the missing features after we switched to Drupal. Sky please let us know in details the "recent post in each thread" issue so that we can work on it. Also we took steps to reduce spam post like disallowing unregistered member from posting links in their posts. We improved our spam filter section too. Can you please send us few urls so that we can take a look at the spam pattern. We will add them to our spam filter section so that they don't come again.

I think I hit the "ask expert" button or something. But actually starting the thread was extremely challenging... you have to click in the right area of the body because the entire message box is shifted to the right..

Yesterday I deleted over 300 posts in the mod screen....only 3 good posts in the mess. Spammers seem to find us....

I have had a hell of a couple of months. Was offered a new job close to home with regular office hours...grabbed it. With my daughters surgery and recovery, I needed to be close to home and available for her in the evenings. She is now wheelchair bound while she is relearning to walk. Training was suppose to start the week before her surgery...but it was delayed due to a death the owners family....so training started the week of her surgery. They knew about her surgery from the first interview. Did two days of training, then her surgery....unfortunately she had complications over the weekend and her discharge was delayed until the monday. I called in monday to explain that I would not be in....got a call back from HR 20 minutes later telling me I had been terminated!!! WTF??? This is suppose to be a family run company.....they knew I was a single parent and this was a major surgery...and that I had quit a full time job for them. I even rented a car to get to training in Fort Myers....my car is not highway worthy...so between gas and the rental, I ended up being in the hole!!! My part time employer Michaels was appalled....they have been giving me as many hours as they possibly can...I have been split shifting around my daughters physical therapy. They managed to give me 35 hours last week. I also redesigned my candle line, my northern inspired candles being too rustic for upscale Naples. I know cutting wine and beer bottles and pouring soy wax into them. Have 2 high end accounts with another couple interested. Not making much $$ yet as profits going back into supplies but the profit margin is excellent as I do not have to pay for glassware! Takes time to do the scoring and cutting and sanding but the results are turning out real nice!

When you view any of the forum sections, there is a heading at the top that says "Last Post". For each thread, there will be a date, time, and member name that all correspond to the last post in that column. After that info, there is this:

That used to be a clickable button, that would take you automatically to the last post so that you didnt have to scroll through pages of posts you had already seen. The ">>" is still there, but it is no longer a button.

How the hell did you start a new thread???? I can't and havent been able to since the change over.

I too got a new job....I start next monday! The company I am working for has a habit of walking employees to the door when they resign....so most people wait until the last moment. I handed my resignation at the end of the day and walked myself. I have been working 6-7 days a week since last September so I have 5 days off...mini vacation! No...I will not be relaxing or hanging out at the beach....my daughter is having surgery next thursday to straighten her legs...so I will be working at cleaning house and making everything wheelchair accessible.

Check out the last seven posts, all made today. All by unregistered screen names....all containing links.....

Our system does not recognise Russian / Chinese words, as a result they get through the spam filter. We are trying to find a solution on this.

Also it is difficult to ban words like payday loans / collections because they are used quite often in our forums and if we block them most of the posters' queries having payday loan / collection texts in their posts will get blocked.

As far as the click able button feature is concerned we will look into it if its possible to bring back that feature. However, we have already installed the last posters name, time and date section. On can go the the last posters post after following an additional step. i.e now instead of going to the last posters post after clicking on the arrow button one will have to use Next .. Last page option from a thread.

Spam is worse than before... And those stupid stories with terrible grammar about "The Collector" still get through.
