What does this mean?
My wages have been garnished for about 5 years, last june my employer was sent a letter saying that the department of education did not know where to apply the latest payment my employer sent in. on my "myeddebt.com" page on the bottom its says "AWG process complete" does this mean my debt is done now? on the summary page it shows I owe $10,481.47 but that has never changed and that is about the amount my employer has paid over the years.

Contact whoever was collecting the debt to confirm if the debt has been repaid. You would anyways need the documents to show that the judgment has been satisfied and moreover, you will need the papers if some bottomfeeder calls you again, claiming you still owe the debt or something.
