W-9 Form
I receive a letter from Arrow Fin. Serv. with a W-9 Form requesting my ssn or ein. I don't remember dealing with them. It may be about a debt I paid off in 2010. Is it normal procedure for them to send such a form? On the W-9 form it has,Request for taxpayer identification number and certification. I mainly wanted to if the company is legit.

EIN is for businesses ,or indepedent/self employed.unless you are one of those they sent a form to get info illegal.send a DV(debt validation)letter certified mail return receipt.this a JDB bottomfeeder that does collect on paid,past SOL,or debt that doesn't exist.do a search in the bar top right.in fact SHAZZERS a prominent member had a default judgement vecated and dismissed.turns out the debt didn't exist for her either.again send a DV right away.
