Personal loans/consolidation loans for very bad credit

I have gotten myself in a bad financial pickle. It started with some car repair and dental work. I got an installment loan, and ended up needing more payday loans to deal with the monthly charges. Long story short: My credit is very poor and I now owe thousands of dollars, mostly to try to pay off installment loans. However, I am also trying to pay off some existing debt. I will probably be owing money on my student loan for the rest of my life, My question: Are there any banks/credit unions/loan companies willing to give a personal loan to somebody with very bad credit? If I could just borrow $5000 and pay it back over time, I could wipe out all of my payday/installment loan debt plus some lingering credit card debt.

The 2 big ones were installment loans from ChecknGo and CashNetUSA, $2600 each. I got the one from CashNetUSA originally to help with dental work. My plan was to get the dental work done and pay the rest early. However, I got a little too ambitious and started paying some lingering credit card debt faster than I needed to. When that money was almost gone, and with $200 bi-weekly payments giving me a beating, I took another one from CheckNGo to stop the bleeding. I wanted to use ChecknGo to pay off CashNetUSA, but other bills got in the way...I was already struggling. Pretty soon I was taking out lots of smaller payday/installment loans and even borrowing from retirement (which wasn't all that much) to try to pay off the loans. Now I have installment type loans from Ameriloan, UnitedCashLoans, Castle, VIP and others, and it has really added up. And I still will probably need to borrow money to pay rent on the 1st...payday/installment loans are taking my entire paychecks now :( I know I screwed up, but I was trying to be responsible and pay things off, and ended up making things worse. I've been looking online for payday loan consolidation companies, and that might be just what I need. I have other debt, but the payday/installment loans are what are destroying me right now. They can be a great thing if used properly, but I got a little too ambitious and have really screwed myself badly this time.
