Engaged and Filing Bankruptcy

Hi,

I am currently engaged and considering filing bankruptcy due to not being able to live with a $40,000 debt. If I do file bankruptcy, while I'm single, will it effect my future husband's credit after we marry?

Unless you live in a community property state, it wouldnt affect

Unless you live in a community property state, it wouldnt affect their credit if you filed even after you were married.
