Writ of Garnishment

Greetings,
I owe Wells Fargo a total of 1600, a few months ago I told them I would pay 75.00 a month. This was through a collection law firm. I have been unable to make the make payment according to the agreement I made several months ago. Now they have sent several letters to the company I work work in reference to garnishee my wages at 25%. They informed my company that they are considering filing a motion with the court to hold the garnishee in comtempt. What can I do to avoid all of this?:(

You should contact Wells Fargo as soon as possible. You should have made payments as per the agreed terms and conditions. Check the court dockets once.
Why on earth would they contact wells when a law firm is handling the account?? Wells wont deal with them.

Sounds like they have a consent judgment against you, allowing you to make payments with the agreement with would not touch your wages or levy your bank account provided those payments were made. You voided the agreement. Did you show up in court?? SIgn anything?
