Midland Funding

Can a creditor start garnishing your wage without me knowing first? One day when I got my check, I found out it was garnish. Then I called the payroll department of my company and I was told Midland Funding was garnishing my wage and there was a latter I should be getting any time now. I don't understand?

They would need to obtain a judgement first.

Somewhere along the line you were sued. Did you receive a summons?? If so, did you answer it?? Show up in court??
