They put something on my credit report. I contacted them & they said they purchased from someone who purchased from someone...I never heard of anyone. I asked them to give me evidence & they pretty much suggested they werent required to send me anything but a letter. I disputed this with credit bureau(Transunion). Will this be enough to remove provided no proof exists?

Have you ever READ THE FDCPA???? If they cannot provide proof of the debt, by law they cannot contact you to collect on the debt. Why bother with a cease and desist??
