Confirm taped phone message

2 days ago - my answering machine received a taped message advising that my current card/account was to be cancelled with a new replacement card/account to be set up. New card was to be mailed. This was due to some "hacking". Was this correct and if yes when will replacement be sent to member? What should I do?
