My husband owes 30,000 in student loans. he hasnt been paying on the loans. Can he still get the loans consolidated? And if so how would we go about that? thanks!

He can consolidate any federal loans with the Direct Loan Consolidation Loan program thru the DOE.
You will not be able to consolidate defaulted private loans.
