check n go

I have found myself in over my head with payday/installment loans. After considering many options; I think I have decided that i will default on my installment loan with check n go- i am paying almost $700 per month on a $2,100.00 loan & it's killing me!!! Putting the question out there: if i sent them a letter stating i can no longer afford the current payments & advise my bank not to allow them to put through ACH payments from my account; will they give me a certain amount of time to pay off the loan? Will they send it to collection or take it directly to court? I live in utah & am unsure of the laws. In either case, collection or garnishment- my payments should be lower!!!! Opinions anyone
