Bad credit not my fault!

I am disabled. I have been disabled since 2007. since that time I have gone to the hospital a few times and each time I have given my insurance information. I am categorically needy and I have everything paid for with medicaid and medicare. The hospitals have incorrectly billed me, then never sent me a bill and then put me in collections all without my knowledge or any attempt to contact me. Now I have a credit score that keeps falling every month and I have done NOTHING wrong. They are the ones that messed up not me!! Can I sue for damaging my credit? All total I think I supposedly owe $7000.00 and none of it is my fault! Thanks for any any information!

Legally you are ultimately responsible for all payments. You need to get in touch with the original creditors to find out why they didnt submit insurance claims and to pull the accounts back from collections.
