You'll need to provide us some more information. Midland funding is a CA that collects on illegal debt. Who is the original creditor and what state are you in? What state are you in?

Following advise like this could simply end up with you getting sued. It is just plain stupid and shows the lack of knowledge of this poster. For starters, any account sent to Midland needs to be DV'd....there are times they CAN validate the debt. If they can't validate the debt, you shouldnt hear from them again...if you do, you have an FDCPA violation.
