instant loan - I cannot find a license for this lender. They claim on their site that they can do business in Ohio. They may be a CSO. What does your contract say? I am unsure I originally took out a loan for $400 and to date have paid $420 back to them, it appears to keep renewing.

I see recommendations to stop payments and to ask for refunds if I have paid more than the principal, but concerned they will ruin my credit/check writing capabilities even further. Please advise further. Thank you

I'm not sure where you see recommendations to stop payments. You need to revoke ACH authorization with all the illegal lenders and close your account.

I used the wrong terminalogy, yes I am working on stopping ACH on my accounts, I am unable to close at this time as I am in a negative situation.

However, my concern is that when I contact the lenders that I have way over paid example received $405, have paid to date $1455 that they will tell the bank I still owe them and the bank will allow it to go through. Make sense?

If you had followed the step by step advice in my link below you would know that, if you cannot close the account, you should have it put on a deposit only status. And, you should be giving a copy of your ACH revocation notices to your bank to prevent any attempts at being honored.

I sent the email, they confirmed they will no longer call me but now they are mailing me bills, saying it will go on my creidt report and be sent to collections. Please advise if this is just a scare tactic or if they will go the next step. Thank you.
