Town and Country -- getting started
Date: Mon, 07/30/2012 - 14:17
So I sent off my retainer to Town and Country. I have already started to see some results, and I just sent things off on Friday. First, they told me to go ahead and have my creditors call them. It felt so good to tell Advance America and Quik Cash to call T&C instead of having to deal with them myself.
I guess my question is...we were going over some of my amounts over the telephone (me and the nice girl from T&C). She said that I owed Zest Cash/SpotLoan $200 and that it had been verified by the company. My loan was for $800. Should I argue this and try to correct the amount, or just let it ride.
It feels really good to do this. I wished and I prayed that I could do this myself, but I just got in over my head. Hope T&C will be able to help me climb my way out of hell.

Its good that you have taken steps to take care of your debts. You can verify the debt amount once.

The lady lady possibly said that you owe Zip19 $200 is probably because (given the fact that they are an illegal lender and you only need to repay the principal) you have already paid $600 before T&C started handling the account.
Are Zip 19 and ZestCash (Spotloan) the same thing?

Zip19 and ZestCash (Spotloan) are not the same to my knowledge.
Zip19 and ZestCash (Spotloan) are not the same to my knowledge. They are all, however, illegal as they are offshore. You don't owe them anything.
