I have a credit card with Tribute and have a balance for appr. $700.00. I have had this and am trying to get my debt paid and work at my credit score. I have a lot of negitive stuff on my credit report from these guys. I have been putting money aside and have enough to pay them off. Do I pay them off or can I sometimes get away with a deal with them? Is it possible for them to remove that from my credit report if I pay them off?

No these have not gone to a collections agency. They were recently past due and I am trying to consolidate and pay off things. This is a simple credit card with some bad reporting to my credit report for some late payments. I didn't know if it was possible for the company that posted negatively to withdraw those postings if you made a deal with them and made good on it..
