My son incurred debt on credit cards and overdrawn bank charges several years ago. This would have been in 2004. What is the SOL for NH? Also, if they keep switching collectors does the statute start from a new begging?

The SoL in NH is 3 years so looks like the debt is already past it. No, the SoL clock on a debt is not reset if it changes hands between collectors.

He still owes the debt so the CA's have the right to attempt to collect. However he can send them a cease and desist letter and tell them to bug off. They can no longer sue since the debt is past the SOL.
