Hello fellow debtcc denizens.

I am happy to be joining the debtcc team. I bring with me a great deal of enthusiasm for providing additional learning tools, enhancing the member and reader experience, and growing the debtcc community.

A little bit about me:

Happily married and father of two teenage girls. Currently living in NC, but returning to ID at the end of June.

I have been reading and posting (mostly anonymously and sporadically) to the debtcc site since about 2005. In a way, I feel like I already know many of you.

I have worked in the debt relief space in one form or another for many years. The majority of that time has been geared toward developing and supporting educational products and tools that consumers can implement on their own when and where possible. I have participated in rule making at the state and federal level to curb abuse in the debt relief industry; regularly consult with consumer advocate attorneys representing abused consumers; provided expert witness testimony in industry related cases; speak at industry conferences; blog and write about consumer issues; interview with media outlets and other fun stuff.

I have been developing some helpful resources for the site that will come on line shortly. With each introduction I will post in the mod forum a brief outline.

I look forward to working with the community. If I can assist anyone in any way, please just ask.

Best,
Michael
