wage garnishment for part time worker
Within the last 6 months I got my wages garnished from a landlord that we didn't even know we owed money to. I got the letter in the mail and didn't even have time to answer because that week my check got garnished. I was working full time. I am still with that company but on a part time basis now since I have a different full time job. I work there 4 hours a week, sometimes more. They have not been taking anything out. Do I have to make a certain amount for them to garnish? I am not head of the family, my husband is.
