Tuition debt question

[COLOR=black]What are the consequences of informing the collection agency that I wont pay the tuition (I have the money to pay it in the bank, but dont really want to)? Is a ruined credit history the only consequence, if they decide to sue for the total, would that significantly raise the amount I would likely have to pay? I understand the state could try to withhold my tax refunds to pay the bill (this doesnt really concern me as I make sure not to get any)?[/COLOR]

You ever want to buy a house?? Suggest you pay it now. They will get their money....how much you pay is really up to you....you agreed to all court and legal costs and tuition accounts usually charge about 50% in collection fees.

Yup. If your credit is half decent and I can assure you a hard pull will be done, they will sue thru the courts and pursue wage garnishment and bank seizure.
