I received a letter from GC Services about my default college loan. I can not pay the whole amount that I still owe as they said I must. How can I solve this. I am 68 years old and retired on a fixed income.

GC services is going their job by demanding balance in full on demand. Your agreement was that if you defaulted you would pay it in full on demand. Did you do anything to prevent the default?
