Well, based on some of the recent posts here at the forum it seems as though these illegal lenders are on a roll, people are being bombarded with all kinds of calls, threats of jail, court, bad check fraud, and, well, you name it. It's a shame that our state officials are not doing anything about it besides letting the media know they have issued cease and desist orders against them.

But, please don't let it discourage anyone from continuing sending in those complaints!

Don't get me wrong, I am really glad that some state officials are issuing cease and desist orders, but it seems like the band-aid effect to me.

No, they didn't have accents for once..lol! But I've done some research and other people have been called and threatened by the same people in the same fashion. And I can't find any physical address..no shocker there.

If I keep getting threatening calls, I will file a FTC complaint against them and let them know I'm doing it.

It might be worth playing them for a fool to get their information. Pretend you are going to send them money but first get their information.

Yep, just to see if they will actually give me a physical address or ask for my bank account or debit card number.

I am seeing everyone getting bombarded with their calls and I don't want to jinx myself, but I am afraid I have not been contacted by anyone yet. The only company that contacted me was Detex agency for mypaydayloan.com with a bogus amount of 846.98. I got emails from nationwide telling me they are licensed by the treaty or some crazy stuff. I got a PIF from money2advance.com, Haven't heard anything from

I have been getting calls from them also, very threatening. saying they will put a hold on my bank account and report me to chexsystems. I did a pdl from a company and then all of a sudden there was more money deposited from a company i did not authorize nor acknowledge. they couldn't provide me with a signed loan doc as i didn't go thru them. I think they just run with the infor without authorization. It scared me at first and i did put a stop on that company when i found out who they were. They also said it was from nov 09 which it wasn't and it wasn't a check. they said they were going to serve me between such and such a time but of course didn't. What has anyone done about this? They are very rude and threatening.

[COLOR=black]I received a lot of calls from these people, threatening me by stating that someone was coming to serve me papers, which is crazy when is the last time someone called you to let you know you were going to be served. Then on Friday then left a message stating I needed to call their office ASAP and talk to the manger or they would have to pursue my employer! These people are crazy! Now that I am trying to straighten my credit out it seems like many people are trying to get in contact from me that I have no heard from in like five years. Just simply and politely tell them to immediately stop calling or they are in violation of the law. Also tell them that you listen to Clark Howard and that he referred you. I guarantee they will stop calling.Trust thisfriend in Los Angeles
