Pinion Management not doing payment confirmation

Poohbear24, if Pinion is not updating your accounts with the credit bureaus, you can send your letters to them with proof about your payments made towards this account. The CRA will contact your OC and know the actual standing of this account and update your file. You can also inquire on the same account with your OC who hired this CA for collections. They will check your payments in their system before contacting the bureaus.

Keep proof of your payments and other important documents in safe place. You might need to produce it in case there is a need to dispute on it.

Thanks John. They hadn't reported to the credit bureau's, I was fortunate to handle these before it went there. I was just having difficulty with them sending me a written confirmation of payment and closed account.

In this case, you must contact your OC and get the details of your payment made towards the account and get the update done. I assume they must have hired this collection agency to collect the debt from you. So, in any case, your account should show the actual standing and not what the collectors want.

You can also send a letter to the collection agency and force them to do the update on your accounts with your creditors. Give some legal importance in the letter and send it through certified mail with return receipt requested. No collection agency is allowed to hurt your file by doing such activities.

There were previous payment arrangements that were modified but they did not hold to the arrangement and added additional charge.

Yimini, if I had been in your place, I would have definitely closed my checking account to prevent the auto debits. Besides, the company is causing breach of contract if you have already signed an agreement with them.

Explain your problems to the bank and request them to verify the debit made by the company. They might help you by contacting the company and request verification.

Do you have a lawyer to represent you? You must take some legal counseling in dealing with the company.

I am currently trying to get through to anyone at Pinion Mgmt regarding taking a few hundred dollars more than they were supposed to out of my checking account. Seems odd that when I call the number I have they show that I did have an account with them and Pinion Mgmt handles their payment issues but they don't show a record of payments being made. Don't you think they would want to make sure that Pinion is giving them their money. Are they going to try and take this money out again in the future. I put a block on Pinion taking any money out of my checking account because this situation is ridiculous.

Mary, explain this problem to your bank. After understanding your problem, your bank will possibly place a dispute with Pinion Management over all the debits made by them. The company will be forced to verify the items or else you can put them into legal troubles. The number to call Pinion is 863-297-3072

Call Pinion at 863-297-3072 and get the details of your account in writing. No federal laws state that you will get endless calls at your work or home regarding past debt accounts. Besides, the company must have a prior consent from you if they can make calls at your work.

Send them a cease and desist letter and cover your basis legally. Hope this works out for you.

I have had Pinion Management call my job and we actually set up payment arrangments for my acct. I lost my debit card and had to get anther one, hen i called the number they gave me, no one had ever heard of Pinion Mgmt and didn't have an account saying they were debiting my account, i am disputing the debits, but i am afraid they can sue me, what should i do?

Do you have the payment arrangement in writing? The company should have legal reasons before suing anyone. In my view, the company does not have a case here.

Hey John, we actually made these arrangements over the phone, now after I reported this info to my bank, someone finally called me and stated that I authorized these debits and that he has it recorded. I dont know what to do, they said they collect for One click Cash, I need an address on them.

I have had a gentleman contact me from Pinion Management in re to payday loan from United Cash Loans, he is threatening me with the District Attorney for a bad check. Which there was no bad check written. Can they do that?

I Paid my debt to a company called Collectedge Services LLC back in 09/2005, no I have another collector calling me and threating me, I have proof of my paymentof this debt, but I can not get ahold of Collectedge Services LLC all the phone #'s I have for them are no longer good #'s HELP!!!

Jeanie, no actions will be considered legal until Pinion sends to you something in writing about the account. Read the FDCPA laws on debt validation and empower with your legal rights. The collection agencies are restricted from making threats and intimidating comments till they have a legitimate purpose. Send a debt validation letter to their mailing address and cover your base legally.

jiggles1978, there is nothing to worry since you have proof of the debt paid. It is obvious that the collection agency is having a wrong contact or your file is not updated with them. Ask them to send you in writing and later dispute their claim.

Thanks (just me) for the advice. Have you ever heard of collectedge services llc? They are who i originally made the payment to and they never sent me my letter stating that the debt was paid ... All i have is a copy of the electronically submitted payment they did with my account number from pinon on it... That should be good enough right?

Yes, you must be having the routing number showing the transfer. This is all you need for being in the safe side.

Pinion North took 80.00 from my checking account on Aug 4, 06 without my authorization and Iwant it returned immediately.

Roy, you have to contact your bank and dispute the debit with the company. Pinion needs to clarify this transaction. If they are unable to give you sufficient reasons for this debit, the amount should be reverted back to your account.

pinion north was only scheduled to take $160 from my checking account and they have taken $320 from my checking account. I have contacted Pinion north and they will not return my calls. Their answering service keeps telling me to leave my name and number and someone will contact me back regarding this matter. I've been waiting for a call for 3 days now and I'm fed up.

Recenlty made payment arrangements on a pay day loan I defaulted on. The agreement was a good faith payment of $50 on the first, $83 every 2 weeks for 2 months ans then it would be paid. They had called me at work and I was very busy at the time (not an office worker) Now I see that they took the $50 and the next payment was taken out just a few days later not when it was supposed to be. one more thing...when i set my payments up they told me my payments cant be changed and i had to repeat that and say my name. I have to pay my rent and my check was not that much. Any suggestions

MTE is an illegal company. How much did you borrow from them and how much did you repay. Let them wait for their money. Your rent and basic living expenses come first.
