Idealgelt payday loans - What are the key complaints against them?


So, I had posted another title on here stated Payday Loan Help....but, I wanted to repost something regarding Idealgelt. We got an PDL through them for $500. They started taking out $150 every two weeks twice, plus $50 for the first time. Therefore, we have made $350 already in payments. I live in PA and knew that there there was only 6% allowed. So, I sent out all my letters to the pdl's, bbb, and department of banking. I closed my account with my bank only to learn that Idealgelt tried AGAIN to take money out of our account...this time for the principal of $500 AND $150 for the interest. Thankfully, I saved my letter that I sent certified AND the fax. I just took it down to the banking rep and she is going to report this to the fraud department. My question is, has anyone else dealt with Idealgelt?? They are the ONLY one giving us such a hard time and NOT complying with my letter to revoke my ach authorization. My husband even called and told them that we were going to report them to the FTC as well and they just laughed. What else should I do besides make all my complaints??


Well... I don't have a personal experience dealing with Idealgelt. You took the right step by closing your account with your bank so that the payday lender cannot debit any further money from your account. As Idealgelt is not complying with your letter to revoke your ach authorization, you may think of taking legal help in this matter.

I am also having a difficult time with Idealgelt. I took out a loan for $750 and have paid back a total of $1,375. They agreed to set up payment arrangements but I advised them that I have paid way too much on this already and refuse to pay anymore. They sent me an e-mail stating that they have multiple recourses to retreive their funds including collections and legal remedies, none of which will be pleasant. They also said they would report me to all three credit brureau's and Teletrack. I have since reported them to the Attorney General's office and I am waiting to hear from them. I am also having trouble with Once Click Cash and Untied Cash Loans. They have not responsed to any of my e-mail and I have not recieved any phone calls from them.
