Income Tax garnishment

As far as I know, if you owe any money to federal government or IRS, then your income tax refund can be garnished. If you have defaulted on a federal loan, then the US government (education department) can garnish your income tax return. Your federal income tax refund can also be garnished if you have not paid your income tax for several years.

what type of things other than childsupport can be taken from income taxes

yes it can be garnished for ex if you owe 2000 and are paying on it weekly when you file your taxes they can take all of it til the 2000 is paid in full:sad:

your taxes can be offset for any governmental type debts....student loans, taxes, childsupport..
