If they are already garnishing your check will, the IRS allow them to intercept your income tax refund

If the creditor is garnishing your pay check, it means they are receiving their payments on time. In that case, they won't go after your tax refunds.

Is this a student loan? If so, your taxes will be intercepted because you are NOT paying on a voluntary basis. A garnishment is not a payment plan.
