I just asked a question and it was deleted by someone. Anyways here is my question why should we diversify our investment portfolio even though I may get good returns ?

because it minimizes risk. if you invest in one security , you will expect return from that security only and if it fails your return will also be affected but if your investment is diversified in other area then a loss from a single investment can be made up with others even if you are getting good returns from your existing portfolio
