Hi
I have over $9,000 of unpaid tuition for one of the public universities, and the CA added $3,000 as collection fees, I contacted them and tried to lower the amount and offered to make a full payment if the amount was reduced, but they said that the university will not agree to settle.
Your advices and comments are appreciated.

With funding being cut to schools, they may well not choose to settle. I have heard this has become a trend with schools...they just cannot afford to take the write off.
